Sheikh Edebali was a Turkish Sufi Sheikh known for his purity and education.
He took law lessons from a famous lawyer Nejmeddin ez-Zahidi in Karaman then he moved to Damascus to complete his religious studies.
After Sheikh Edebali came back to his country, he dedicated himself to religion and helping the people around him with his knowledge and his donations.
He established a Zawiya (small Khanqah) in Bilejik. According to Asikpashazade (Dervish Ahmed), Sheikh Edebali’s zawiya was always busy helping people and educating them in religion.
He also says he never sent back anyone with empty hands who came to ask for his help.
