Prince Louis is officially one! The tiny prince was born on April 23, 2018, and he’s now celebrating his first birthday.
On September 4, 2017, the royal family announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, were expecting their third child.
As soon as Prince Louis was born, Kensington Palace announced his arrival. A little while later, Prince George and Princess Charlotte got to visit their new baby brother at the hospital for the first time. And just seven hours after giving birth, Kate Middleton left the hospital with her new son.
The world was immediately infatuated with Prince Louis, and members of the press and public clamored for any and all photos of the baby prince.
A few weeks after his birth, royal fans got another view of Prince Louis — at home with his big sister, Princess Charlotte.
Now, the young prince is a year old! He’s currently the youngest member of the royal family, but he’ll lose that title as soon as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s baby is born.
