Retired Cop Finds Toddler Chasing Ball Through Neighborhood And Waits For Parents To Show Up

Darryl Pang, a retired officer from California, was driving down the road with his dashcam rolling when he made a very disturbing discovery.

Darryl spotted a little boy up ahead, chasing his bouncy ball down the sidewalk and into the street — completely alone.

The lone toddler was playing right in the path of oncoming traffic. Darryl honked the horn, thinking the sound would alert the boy’s parent or guardian, whom he assumed was somewhere nearby. But no one arrived.

Horrified, the concerned driver made a U-turn just as the boy started walking into the road. Still, Darryl assumed it was only a matter of time before a frantic parent came rushing over to pluck the child off the street and bring him back to safety. “That’s what usually happens,” Darryl told CBS.

Well… that’s not the outcome he got.

Instead, Darryl is sharing his dashcam footage to urge parents to always, always keep an eye on their children.
