A familiar face will be returning to Dancing With The Stars for season 28. The reality dancing competition has announced the return of Peta Murgatroyd, who last appeared two seasons ago. Peta originally joined the cast of the show in 2011. She competed in 11 seasons, taking home the Mirror Ball Trophy twice. Peta won season 14 with former NFL wide receiver Donald Driver. She won again in season 22 with actor and model Nyle DiMarco.
Peta decided to step away from the show along two seasons ago, along with her husband, pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The couple/co-stars were married in July 2017, just months after the two welcomed son Shai. While the couple has spoken a few times about adding another baby to their brood, it looks like those plans will be on hold, at least until the end of this season of DWTS. We won’t have to wait too long to find out who Peta will be dancing with this season. The cast will be revealed on Good Morning America on August 21st.
