People Photoshopped New Tops Onto A Photo From Queen Elizabeth’s Recent Speech And It’s Perfect

You can always count on someone on the internet to have fun whenever possible. In this case, it’s a whole bunch of people having fun on the internet. While watching Queen Elizabeth’s recent speech, several people couldn’t help but notice that Her Majesty had presented anyone with Photoshop skills a present: she was wearing a green dress.

If there’s one reason why people on the internet love the color green, it’s because it’s so easy to manipulate in Photoshop. The color green is also used for chroma keying, when an editor compiles two photos together. While the color green is not strictly required, you do need a uniform background to make this successful. Green and even blue are often used because the colors are so distinct from various skin hues—there’s less of a risk of accidentally lobbing off part of someone’s face when the color is so different from the rest of that person.

So, as the internet tends to, people spotted the Queen’s ensemble and really made the most of it.
