Clint Answers for His Comments About Gina on ‘MAFS’ (EXCLUSIVE CLIP)

Clint from 'MAFS'

Chrissy Bobic - Author

When Clint made comments, seemingly about Gina’s body, on Married at First Sight, not only did she take those words to heart, but so did the other wives. And in an exclusive clip obtained by Distractify ahead of the Feb. 15 episode, Clint apologizes to the group and explains where he was coming from with his comments. Well, sort of.

Article continues below advertisement

This is after Clint failed to apologize personally to Gina, however, when she gave him the chance in the previous episode. It looks like Gina is ready to move forward, especially if Clint is sincere now, but it may also be a case of too little too late. It’s difficult enough being on a honeymoon with a stranger, let alone one whose insults cut deep.

What were Clint’s comments about Gina on ‘MAFS’?

In the Feb. 8 episode, when the couples sat down to talk about their progress so far, Clint made multiple comments about his typical preference in women physically. By saying that he prefers women with “slender and athletic” bodies, he essentially pointed out that he doesn’t see his wife as that type of woman, physically.

When she called him out for it toward the end of the episode, he didn’t apologize, but instead pointed out how she told him that he isn’t her type physically either. While this is true, Gina didn’t make comments in front of their peers in a group setting and he wasn’t embarrassed by her with the rest of the MAFS couples present.

When Clint fails to take ownership of his comments, Gina suggests they spend some time apart. This is just their honeymoon, mind you. And if things are this tense already, you have to expect them to get even more dramatic once real life sets in when they get home.

Clint apologizes to the group on ‘MAFS.’

In the MAFS clip, Clint finally addresses what he said about Gina to the entire group. He admits that he can sometimes say “ridiculous comments” when he’s just trying to be upfront and honest. And, while this is supposed to be an apology, it honestly falls a little short of anything resembling an “I’m sorry” to the group. And, more importantly, to his wife.

“I said some comments last night that were, like, off the cuff and in the moment, and it wasn’t to disparage anyone,” Clint says in the clip. “And so, I talked about, like ‘slender’ and ‘athletic,’ and I don’t think it hit the right way. It was the wrong choice of words.”

He adds that he just wanted to give the group an idea of where he has been in his “past life.” Which again, doesn’t sound like the apology he apparently planned ahead of this final honeymoon dinner.

One thing we know for sure is that things are about to get very real once Clint and Gina are in the real world after the honeymoon.

Watch Married at First Sight on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST on Lifetime.

‘I’m surprised they even have the option to cancel’: Instacart shopper says customer canceled order just before he delivered it

An Instacart shopper claimed that a customer canceled their order right before it got delivered—a move that ensured that the worker didn’t get tipped for completing the service.

In a video posted to TikTok, Eason (@eastend96), the aggrieved worker, explained his predicament in further detail. As of Wednesday morning, his video had over 6,300 views.

“I’m doing Instacart—as I often do on weekends—and I just did a batch order of three orders, so it was three different people’s deliveries,” he says in the clip. “I just delivered the first two and as I was delivering the third one … I got a notification saying, ‘order removed from batch.’”

Initially thinking it was “mistake or glitch,” Eason says he decided to still deliver the items. After completing the order, though, he went to his earnings and saw that Instacart only credited him for completing the first two orders—which led him to contact their support team.

“They were like, ‘Yeah, the customer canceled the order right before you delivered,’’ Eason explains. “So you’re not going to get their tip or anything.” He further surmised that the woman canceled her order so that she didn’t have to pay or tip.

“That is so fucked,” he concludes.

The Daily Dot has reached out to Eason via TikTok comment and Instacart via email. As of publication, it was unclear whether Eason was ever paid for completing the order.

In the comments, various users vented about the supposed glitches in Instacart’s system that lets customers cancel orders on a whim. Some workers for the app also claimed that they’ve experienced something similar while doing deliveries.

“Happened to me once when I was just about to pull up to their driveway lol,” wrote one user. “Got to keep their stuff.”

“I’m surprised they even have the option to cancel if you already picked the items,” read another comment.

“Hopefully that person got banned,” said a third user. “Wtf.”

Instacart’s TikTok account also commented on the post and encouraged Eason to reach out. “We definitely hear your frustration,” the company wrote. “DM us! We’d be happy to look into this for you.”

Paul Rudd Was Delighted By Lizzo Mistaking A ‘Late Night’ Writer For Him And He Put Their Similarity To The Test

Shortly before 2022 wrapped up, Seth Meyers and Lizzo spent some time together day-drinking for a Late Night segment. One of the many fun moments from that was when Lizzo saw Late Night writer Seth Reiss in a mask and thought he was Paul Rudd. Once he took his mask off, though, Lizzo exploded into laughter before changing her position and declaring the two don’t look anything alike.

Fast-forward to last night (February 14): Rudd was a guest on Late Night and he and Meyers discussed the Lizzo segment.

Rudd noted, “When I heard Lizzo say my name, I was like, ‘Ooh!’ I got all excited [laughs]. By the way, it’s a weird thing when you’re not expecting to hear that and you hear it.” He went on to call her “so funny” and “so charming.”

Meyers then cut to a clip of Lizzo confusing Reiss for Rudd, and when that ended, Rudd was wearing a mask, as Reiss was in the video. A masked Reiss then emerged to pose next to Rudd, and indeed, there was some definite similarity there.

“You know what? Not as bad as I thought,” Meyers proclaimed. “I owe an apology to Lizzo.”

Watch the Rudd interview above and revisit the original Lizzo segment below.

Is Superman in ‘The Flash’ Movie? Or Is He Dead? Details

Ezra Miller in 'The Flash'

Jamie Lerner - Author

As the DC Universe is set for a total overhaul thanks to the James Gunn takeover, it’s clear that The Flash is going to be both the end of the last phase and the beginning of a new era. The DCEU is James’s world now, and we’re all just living in it, so anything can happen. Now that the trailer for The Flash is finally here, we’re wondering if Superman will be in the new Flash movie, which stars Ezra Miller in the titular role.

The trailer teases appearances from Supergirl, two Batmen, and even General Zod, but Superman himself is nowhere to be seen. So is he in the new The Flash movie? Or is Superman dead?

Superman isn’t going to be in the new ‘The Flash’ movie.

While anything is possible, for all intents and purposes, it seems like Superman isn’t going to appear in The Flash. Basically, the film follows Barry Allen as he tries to go back in time to save his mother. It’s reminiscent of the comic book story, Flashpoint, and seems to take many elements from that initial inspiration. But the biggest hint that there won’t be a Superman is the fact that Henry Cavill is no longer slated to play the role.

Through lots of back and forth, by December 2022, Henry and the DCEU studio announced that he wouldn’t return to playing Superman. Without any sort of announcement of who could be taking on the heroic cape, plus from what we can deduce in the trailer, it wouldn’t be very sensible to introduce a new actor as Superman in a film about the Flash.

And with the returns of Michael Shannon’s General Zod, Michael Keaton’s Batman, and Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne, there are plenty of other characters to worry about.

It’s possible that Superman is actually dead in the new ‘The Flash’ movie.

At one point during the trailer, the camera pans over what appears to be Superman’s cape. This hints that Superman could actually be dead in the film. In fact, we hear Barry’s voice say that he created a “world without metahumans,” which would only be possible if Superman is dead. In the DCEU, it’s Superman’s existence that inspires all the other metahumans to come forward and save the world. But if Superman is dead, then they can never be inspired to come out of the woodwork.

Plus, the fact that General Zod, from Man of Steel, makes his return, could be a hint that instead of recreating the first movie’s events, The Flash could be twisting them around to kill Superman. And in the world that Barry ends up in, Superman is already dead, which would be the truest devastation of all.

The Flash is set to release in theaters on June 16, 2023.

Lana Del Rey Somehow Almost Had An Even Longer Title For ‘Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’

Lana Del Rey and Billie Eilish recently sat down for an Interview conversation that was published yesterday (February 14). During that chat, Del Rey spoke about why she decided to shift away from an NSFW cover for Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. In other news regarding early plans for the album, she also revealed that it almost had an even longer title: Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Pearl Watch Me On Ring A Bell Psycho Lifeguard.

She explained:

“At first, the title was definitely going to be Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, and then I f*cking panicked and I went to [photographer and artist Neil Krug’s] house and said, ‘I know this is f*cked up, but I’ve changed the title. It’s going to now be called ‘Did You Know That There’s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Pearl Watch Me On Ring A Bell Psycho Lifeguard.” He was like, ‘What the f*ck?’ I was like, ‘I’m not telling anyone. Just mock it up.’

He mocked it up, but we realized that maybe it was a bit much to have six titles in one. Then he was like, ‘This is reminding me of a format that I’ve always wanted to play with. What if we just used one title, but then we filled the rest of the page with everyone who’s featured and everyone who engineered it?’ He mocked that up on the portrait shot and I was like, ‘You did it.’ That was a really psychotic day because I was like, ‘Am I willing to literally burn everything down to the ground by having some strange, nonsensical title?’”
