When you find out you’re having twins, it comes as a huge surprise. Some couples are more genetically predispositioned to the possibility than others, but still. It’s a big deal when you need to multiply the amount of supplies you need prior to their birth. 41-year-old World Cup alpine ski racer Bode Miller likely didn’t know what to expect until his wife, Morgan, went into labor. The two opted for a home birth, making it even more personal.
Bode and Morgan welcomed their sons, Aksel and Asher, just 15 weeks ago. However, they’re finally open to sharing the details. Morgan made a story about what happened on Instagram. Prior to sharing, she warned fans to “continue with an open mind and an open heart…and a strong stomach.”
Morgan didn’t want to share the story just because. She wanted to emphasize the fact that women really do go through a lot throughout pregnancy. What happens during labor changes them forever. While most of these changes aren’t bad, it’s still a truth that often gets pushed aside. Women really are superheroes, and it’s important for everyone to know what birth is really like.
Over the weekend, YouTube mysteriously shut down a popular streaming channel that plays relaxing hip-hop music. The channel was restored the next day, but it left people with a lot of questions, and a new meme.
If you enjoy listening to music while you study, you might already be aware of the “lofi hip hop study girl”. She’s the mascot, as it were, of “lofi hip hop radio,” a popular YouTube music stream on the channel ChilledCow that plays relaxing hip-hop beats over a looping animation of a young woman studying with her cat. The animation was created specifically for the channel by artist Juan Pablo Machado.
The channel is one of many such entities on YouTube. The idea is that people can go there and listen to some relaxing music anytime they want to study or just chill out for a bit. With over 4 million subscribers and thousands of people listening to the live stream at any given time, ChilledCow is one of the more popular music streaming channels. When it was unceremoniously terminated for failing to comply with YouTube’s terms of service, its owner reacted immediately.
YouTube responded early the next morning by saying it had made a mistake and restored the channel. It also said it “shared feedback with our review team to prevent similar errors from happening in the future.”
As many people pointed out, why this happened, and what actual steps were being taken to prevent it from happening to others, is something the company failed to explain.
Can you please clearly communicate how this issue happened in the first place, and outline what exactly those steps are going to be to prevent this from happening?
What recourse do smaller channels without as much help and outcry if they’re caught in your “mistakes?”
While people continued to argue over YouTube’s seemingly arbitrary and broken application of its terms of service, others were just happy to have their beloved channel back.
And now “lofi study girl” has become a meme, with many people making the same “guess she finally finished studying” joke.
A few people also pointed out that by taking down the live stream, YouTube might have inadvertently created the longest video on their platform.

Plus, Ninja’s wife, Jessica Blevins, had seemingly confirmed the timing of the hacking, when she wrote on the same day, “So obviously, Tyler’s Twitter got hacked” (Tyler Blevins is Ninja’s real name).
But, regardless of whether or not Ninja himself tweeted about a fight, Tfue was still more than interested in fighting his online adversary.
Tfue announced the fight (and his side of the story) in a video he posted on his YouTube channel on Feb. 23, entitled “Ninja Challenges Me to a Boxing Match.”
“I woke up this morning to a whole bunch of heat on Twitter,” Tfue said. “I guess, supposedly, Ninja challenged me to a fight. I think he did get hacked, but regardless of that, this is something that I need to get off of my chest for a while now.”
I recently have found myself in the midst of a dinner rut. Dinner has been a little controversial around my house. Our 7-year-old is in the throes of a picky eater phase. Gordon Ramsay, a father of five, spawned a little chef of his own. His daughter, Matilda, came out with her own kid-friendly cookbook. Next, there’s Joanna Gaines, an unstoppable mother of five with another cookbook on the way this spring. Last but not least is Food Network star the and mom of one Giada de Laurentiis.

Apparently, the award-winning film and TV actor has been spotted at several heavy metal shows including Slayer, where he sang on-stage alongside Pantera frontman, Philip Anselmo.
