Jennifer Lopez’s bikini selfie is helping women celebrate their bodies. It’s no secret that the 50-year-old has one of the most impressive physiques out there. A bikini selfie from the mother of twin 12-year-olds can spark insecurity for even the most physically fit woman.

The moms of the internet have decided to see things in a more positive light, however. Instead of gazing at her chiseled abs with envy, they are here to remind us that all moms have beautiful bodies that should be celebrated. The idea began with health and fitness instructor Maria Kang. Maria is challenging other moms around the world to see Jennifer’s body as inspiration. It is a reminder that anything is possible, at any age.

With that thought, the #JLoChallenge was born. Moms all over the internet are sharing selfies praising the bodies that made them mommies. The commitment to body positivity by moms of all ages is truly an inspiration. These bodies have been through the wringer and still allow these moms to love and enjoy their children day after day.

Vanessa Bryant’s heartfelt eulogy of her 13-year-old daughter Gianna brought the Staples Center to their feet and to tears. The mother of four showed an unthinkable amount of strength at the memorial for Gianna and Kobe. A packed house of fans and loved ones were showering with love and lifting her in applause as she began to talk about her baby girl.

Vanessa remembered the sweet light Gianna brought to the family. “She made the best chocolate chip cookies. She loved watching cooking shows and Cupcake Wars with me, and she loved watching Survivor and NBA games on TV with her daddy. She also loved watching Disney movies with her sisters,” Vanessa said.

The world has remembered Gigi as a mini-Kobe. Vanessa shared that Kobe always thought she took after her mother more. “Gigi was very competitive, like her daddy. But Gianna had a sweet grace about her. Her smile was like sunshine. Her smile took up her entire face, like mine. Kobe always said she was me,” she said.

“She had my fire, my personality, and sarcasm. She was tender and loving on the inside. She had the best laugh, it was infectious. It was pure and genuine.”

In remembering the good times, Vanessa also mourned for what wouldn’t be. “We will not be able to see Gigi go to high school with Natalia and ask her how her day went. We didn’t get the chance to teach her how to drive a car,” she said. “I won’t be able to tell her how gorgeous she looks on her wedding day. I’ll never get to see my baby girl walk down the aisle, have a father-daughter dance with her daddy, dance on the dance floor with me or have babies of her own.”

Gigi and Kobe were laid to rest in a private funeral service on February 7th. This public memorial closes the book on their loss, but not on their legacy. We’re sure to see Kobe and Gigi’s impact touching areas of sports, leadership, and more for decades to come.

Crystal Bryant was told that Child Protective Services was taking her baby into custody when he was five-months-old. The decision by CPS destroyed the family. Crystal and her husband, Jarvis, were charged with felony child abuse and of breaking several bones in their son’s body. Crystal lost her nursing license. Jarvis lost his security clearance in the US Army and was moved to shuffling papers in the service.

And the worst part: it turns out that the entire time, their son had a bone disorder that was the real culprit behind his ongoing health concerns.

The family told the Colorado Sun that their son, Jace, had been sick for most of his life.

When he was 3 weeks old, he spent 31 days in the hospital and had a feeding tube inserted into his nose and down to his stomach to help him get enough nutrients to survive. At almost 4 months old, Jace had surgery on his esophagus and to place a gastrostomy tube in his abdomen, so his parents could send formula straight to his stomach.

Footage of missing Idaho boy JJ Vallow playing joyfully just days before his disappearance has been released. A neighbor’s Ring doorbell system captured the 7-year-old and a friend on September 17. The two children were playing in the courtyard of their apartment complex. The footage is from days before JJ’s last known sighting on September 23. It’s also days after his 17-year-old sister, Tylee Ryan, was last seen with family at Yellowstone National Park on September 8.

Rexburg police have discovered that the later in September, JJ’s friend visited the apartment and asked if JJ could come out to play. JJ’s mother, Lori Vallow-Daybell, told the neighbor that JJ had gone to see his grandmother in Louisiana. This is one of several explanations that Lori has provided to law enforcement and neighbors as to the children’s whereabouts. All provided locations have been ruled out by police.

Additional footage from that Ring doorbell shows that Lori continued to live at the Rexburg complex until at least October 29. This is believed to be around the time Lori married her alleged cult affiliate Chad Daybell. It’s also a month before the welfare check that kicked off the search for JJ and Tylee.

Lori was arrested in Kauai, Hawaii, where she has been living with Chad, last week. She’s charged with two counts of felony desertion of a child, misdemeanor charges of resisting and obstructing an officer, solicitation of a crime and contempt. She’s being held on $5 million bail.

Authorities have recently begun to look at Lori’s niece, Melani Boudreaux Pawlowski, as another person of interest. According to court paperwork filed by Melani’s ex-husband, Brandon Boudreaux, Melani may have information about the children’s whereabouts. Brandon alleges that Melani is also part of the cult. He believes she’s responsible for an attempt to kill him in early October. The information is part of a custody battle regarding the estranged couple’s children, who Brandon believes will be put in danger related to the cult if exposed to Melani and Lori.

The Rexburg Police Department asks anyone with information regarding the children’s whereabouts or welfare to contact the department at 1-208-359-3000 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) at 1-800-THE-LOST.
