Kaviaa James Union Wade Sitting on a Couch is an image macro series of Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s daughter Kaviaa wearing gray pajamas and sitting on the edge of a couch. Many online have used the image as a reaction, interpreting her expression as one of disappointment and exhaustion in another’s actions.
On March 15th, 2020, former professional basketball player Dwyane Wade posted a picture on Instagram of his daughter Kaviaa James sitting on a couch. He captioned the post, “M0️⃣0️⃣D #Shadybaby.” Within two months, the image received more than 623,000 likes (shown below).
Shortly after posting the image, actor Gabrielle Union, who is also Kaviaa’s mother and Wade’s wife, shared the picture on Instagram and received more than 795,000 likes in less than two months (shown below, left).
Over the next few days, the image began appearing as a reaction online. On March 23rd, Twitter user @seyishae shared the photo with the caption “My mom just mixed anointing oil inside hand sanitizer.” The post received more than 55,000 likes and 14,000 retweets in less than one month (shown below, center).
The following week, Twitter user @AMABOUTOBUST shared the image with the caption “good morning… now what.” The post received more than 129,000 likes and 42,000 retweets in less than one month (shown below, right).

The actor who plays Travis, David Anders, probably looks familiar to most fans. If you are enthralled with Rosewell, New Mexico, then you have likely been with the CW for years. And if that’s the case, then you might remember David from The Vampire Diaries. He was also on Once Upon a Time and IZombie for several seasons each, so he’s no stranger to a good primetime fantasy drama.
In 2019, David called himself “television’s bad boy” in an interview with The Hedonist Magazine and plenty of his roles have showcased his ability to be secretly, or even not so secretly, evil. At first, it’s unclear how evil Travis is on Roswell, New Mexico, though he does seem to have ill intentions. In real life, David does share with the character a love of music, so Travis being handy with a banjo isn’t so far off from David’s talents. He probably sings fewer lullabies to cows, however.

A college student from the University of Colorado Boulder is experiencing a brush of viral fame after a TikTok in which she orchestrates a “meet-cute” between her mom and her professor over Zoom gained millions of views, Insider reports.
In the TikTok, Aly Oliver’s mom walks in on her daughter during a Zoom call.
“Oh my God, that guy is a babe,” Oliver’s mom said after taking a peek at her daughter’s professor.
All this eventually led to Oliver scheduling Zoom office hours with her professor and her mom “accidentally” walking in on Oliver during the call.
Oliver made sure to tell her professor her parents were divorced prior to introducing the two. The mother-daughter duo did a practice run before the office hour call to make sure they executed the plan smoothly.
The video currently has over 2 million likes and has been viewed over 9 million times.

“She really practiced and executed perfectly,” user @choccychips commented.
“I love that she glammed herself tf UP for that 1 minute screen time LMAO GET YOUR MANS MOM,” user @trashohr commented.
Oliver decided to warn her professor about the video once she noticed it gaining popularity and posted his response on her Instagram Story, Insider reports.
“Hi Aly,” her professor’s email said, per Insider, “Surreptitiously recording aside, that’s [an] endearing thing for a daughter to do for a mother.”
Oliver has not responded to the Daily Dot’s request for comment.
In a more recent TikTok, she shared with her followers an update on the whole matter.
“There’s not much guys,” Oliver said in her video. “They live in two different states.”
Her professor said she could keep the TikTok online as long as she wrote about the ordeal for an upcoming assignment.
“So, I’m currently writing a paper on TikTok,” Oliver said. “That’s college for you.”
Although, there hasn’t been any major developments thus far, Oliver said she doesn’t plan on retiring her scheming anytime soon.
“I’m going to drop my mom’s cellphone number at the end of my essay,” she said. “Because what do I have to lose.”

The long-standing issues between Meghan Markle and her father, Thomas Markle, have been very messy. You may think you know the whole story if you’ve been following Meghan since the royal wedding. Many of us were made to believe that while there were strains in the relationship, Thomas’ decision to pose for paparazzi before Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding was what began their estrangement.
We’re learning there’s more to that story, thanks to recently released court documents. The documents are in relation to Meghan’s case against Mail on Sunday and its parent company, Associated Newspapers. The lawsuit revolves around mistruths published in the tabloid. This came to a head with the publishing of a private, heavily-edited letter Meghan wrote Thomas.
The court documents reveal text messages indicating the lengths Harry and Meghan went to in trying to help Thomas. After the paparazzi snafu, they offered guidance that didn’t require talking to the press further. They also show concerns for his health following his heart attack, combatting claims by Thomas and daughter Samantha that Meghan has shown no concern for her father’s health.

Rob Gronkowski famously retired from football at the age of 29. It wasn’t a huge surprise in that rumors had existed for years that Gronkowski’s body was struggling due to the beating he took on the football field, but it was still eyebrow-raising that a player as talented as him retired before he hit the age of 30.
Due to his age, rumors have followed Gronkowski for some time about a possible return to football, although he has shot them down throughout his retirement, instead deciding to do things like agreeing to a deal with WWE. But in an interview with Andy Cohen on Monday night, Gronkowski opened the door to a possible return to football, saying “you just never know.”
It turns out that might have been foreshadowing some plans. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Gronkowski indicated to the New England Patriots that he is interested in a return to football. The catch: He wants to do it alongside Tom Brady, who is now a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

As Rapoport mentioned, the Patriots would need to trade Gronkowski to Tampa Bay, but this seems to indicate the wheels are in motion on some sort of a deal. The report was confirmed by Adam Schefter of ESPN, who says that the two sides are in the midst of trade talks.
Patriots and Buccaneers have been discussing a trade for retired TE Rob Gronkowski, per league sources. Gronkowski has one year and $10 million left on his contract. But the two sides are, and have been talking, prior to Thursday’s draft.

Perhaps this should not be a huge surprise, as a report from late last week indicated that the Bucs were shopping around current starting tight end O.J. Howard. Brady and Gronkowski won three Super Bowls with one another in New England, while the Buccaneers acquired Brady this offseason via free agency.

Super Mario Maker 2 – World Maker Update – Nintendo Switch
The Super Mario Maker 2 game allows you to unleash your creativity with more new options and the ability to create your own world map. A free update to Super Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch system adds a new World Maker mode, as well as a host of new content and features on April 22.
In World Maker mode, multiple courses created by a user can be tied together on a path from the starting point on a world map to the end castle. The look of the world map can also be customized. Up to eight worlds containing a total of up to 40 courses can be combined, creating a mini Super Mario game that can be shared* with others.
In addition to World Maker, guess who else is making an appearance in Super Mario Maker 2? The Koopalings! All seven of these troublemakers, each with his or her own movement pattern, can be added to user-created courses. Other enemies added to the game include the key-chasing Phanto and the wind-up Mechakoopas.
Additional power-ups and course parts are also coming to Super Mario Maker 2 as part of the free update. This includes the SMB2 Mushroom, which transforms Mario and friends into their look from the Super Mario Bros. 2 game and allows them to pick up and throw items and enemies – just like in that classic game! With the Frog Suit from the Super Mario Bros. 3 game, Mario can swim through water with ease, and even run across its surface! Other power-ups added to the game are the Power Balloon first introduced in the Super Mario World game, the Super Acorn from the New Super Mario Bros. U game and the Boomerang Flower from Super Mario 3D World. There are also five variations for wearables like the Cannon Box and Propeller Box from the Super Mario 3D World game.

TUESDAY, April 21, 2020 (HealthDay News) — Studies are beginning to show that, in rare cases, people with severe COVID-19 may develop the serious nervous system disorder known as Guillain-Barre syndrome.
“Guillain-Barre syndrome is a well-known condition in which one’s immune system targets peripheral nerves as foreign and attacks them, resulting in the cardinal features of the disease,” explained Dr. Anthony Geraci, who directs neuromuscular medicine at Northwell Health in Great Neck, N.Y.
The symptoms of the disorder “include weakness, areflexia [absence of reflexes], paresthesia [tingling], and in some cases facial weakness and ataxia [poor balance],” Geraci said.
It’s not uncommon for severe cases of infectious disease to trigger Guillain-Barre, experts noted. According to the Italian authors of a new study, the syndrome has also been seen in patients battling Epstein-Barr virus, cytomegalovirus and, most notably, infection with mosquito-borne Zika.
The new study was authored by a team of doctors battling a major outbreak of COVID-19 in the northern Italian city of Pavia.
Reporting in the April 17 online edition of the New England Journal of Medicine, the authors said that between Feb. 28 and March 21, three hospitals in the region treated about 1,200 patients with COVID-19. Five of those patients displayed symptoms most likely caused by Guillain-Barre, the team said.
Symptoms of Guillain-Barre tended to arise within five to 10 days of the first onset of common COVID-19 symptoms, the researchers said. These first Guillain-Barre symptoms included weakness in the legs, tingling and facial weakness. Within another two days, neurologic symptoms got worse until all four limbs were weakened or paralyzed, the Italian group said.
All five patients received immune globulin therapy to boost their immune response to the coronavirus, and one patient was treated with the antibody-rich blood plasma of a COVID-19 survivor.
A month into treatment, “two patients remained in the intensive care unit [ICU] and were receiving mechanical ventilation, two were undergoing physical therapy because of flaccid paraplegia and had minimal upper-limb movement, and one had been discharged and was able to walk independently,” according to the report.

The Waltons was one of the most popular shows of the 1970s, so it’s no surprise that after all these years, fans are still talking about the hit series. One of the most attractive aspects of The Waltons was the loveable, star-studded cast, specifically Richard Thomas, who portrayed John-Boy Walton from 1972 until his departure after Season 5 in 1977.
So, why did Richard Thomas leave The Waltons before the show ended? Scroll down for everything we know!
It seems Richard Thomas simply left The Waltons more than 40 years ago to pursue other interests, as there have been no records of any sort of falling out he had with the show or the network. In fact, even though he left after five seasons, he returned with a few guest appearances in Season 6 and in a slew of 1990s movies adapted from the show.
At the end of Richard’s storyline as John-Boy on The Waltons, after graduating college, he moves to NYC to become an author. He later enlists in the military following the attack of Pearl Harbor and becomes a war correspondent.
“John-Boy was a new kind of male protagonist on television,” he gushed over his character to Entertainment Weekly at the cast’s 30-year reunion. “That kind of sensitive, feeling man was about as different as a central male character could be on an hour-long series.”
Although Richard’s time on the show ended, the series wasn’t quite ready to give up on John-Boy’s captivating story. That said, for Seasons 8 and 9, Richard was replaced by actor Robert Wightman. When the character was reintroduced, he’s missing in action. So it turned out, he was in a bad plane crash while at war, which forced him to return home for treatment.
He soon bounced back as a news reporter and ended up marrying the love of his life, Janet, at the end of the show.
Although Richard concluded John-Boy’s storyline, the series creator, Earl Hamner Jr., always raved about Richard’s performance. “He was marvelous, and as it turned out, he was perfect in the role,” Earl once told MeTV. “I often said he made a better John-Boy than I did being me. He was just perfect.”
Although Richard admitted that the character of John-Boy was “very rich to play,” he did say in the same interview that “there are no words to express what I owe Earl Hamner,” proving that the two always got along and had a mutual respect for one another despite Richard’s exit from the show.
After leaving The Waltons, Richard continued his successful career with a plethora of other roles including Roots: The Next Generations, Promised Land, The Adventures of Swiss Family Robinson, It’s a Miracle, Just Cause, The Americans, Billions, Tell Me Your Secrets, NCIS: New Orleans, and more.
Here’s hoping Richard considers doing a reboot of The Waltons one of these days!
