Where Is Hosanna Plath, the Oldest ‘Welcome to Plathville’ Daughter?

‘Welcome to Plathville’ is about the Plath family and their nine kids, but oldest daughter Hosanna Plath has been noticeably absent, so where is she?

Season 5 of Welcome to Plathville is here. Kim Plath is now splitting her time between running the Grady Central dance studio and looking after the kids. Ethan Plath and his wife, Olivia, are going through a rough patch. Hosanna Plath, the oldest Plath daughter, is still absent. Hosanna’s lack of screen time has long baffled fans. Why isn’t she on Welcome to Plathville?

Hosanna’s absence has had a reverse effect, sparking viewers to talk more about her than other Welcome to Plathville cast members. Like Lydia Plath, one of the teenage daughters, Hosanna is close to parents Kim and Barry Plath. She is also dedicated to their Christian faith and, apparently, less than eager to showcase her private life on TV for all to see.

So, where is the oldest ‘Welcome to Plathville’ daughter, Hosanna Plath?

Unlike Barry and Kim’s other eight kids, Hosanna isn’t on Welcome to Plathville. In fact, she doesn’t even live in Georgia, where the rest of the family resides. For now, she lives in Ohio with her husband, so it makes sense for her to be the one Plath child who isn’t on the show. It doesn’t mean she isn’t close to her family, but geographically, it just makes sense that Hosanna isn’t filmed for Welcome to Plathville.

That hasn’t stopped fans from speculating, however. Some theorize that Hosanna doesn’t fully support the idea of her family being on reality TV, while others have reasoned that maybe Hosanna will appear on the show later on. Given that she doesn’t live in the same town or even the same state as the rest of her family, however, it might be a while before viewers see Hosanna on Welcome to Plathville.

Fans did get a little bit of clarity on the subject. “They wanted to live their lives privately and I’m really proud of them for making that decision,” Lydia Joy Plath confirmed to InTouch. “I think it was very healthy for the two of them to just build their marriage, focus on that.”

She also shared that there’s a lot that the fans don’t see.

Hosanna is close to another Christian Fundamentalist family.

Although neither Hosanna nor her husband is on Instagram, Hosanna has appeared on the Instagram account for the Christian Fundamentalist family the Rodrigueses. They are close to 19 Kids and Counting family the Duggars as well.

When Hosanna and her husband got married, Nurie Rodrigues was one of the bridesmaids, and the official Rodrigues family Instagram shared photos from the day. Even so, Hosanna herself seems to shy away from social media and might prefer to live a more low-key life than the rest of her family.

Who is Hosanna Plath’s husband?

Even if Hosanna isn’t on social media, she and her husband, Timothy Noble, aren’t exactly shy.

Hosanna and Timothy actually met because of music. Together, they frequently tour the U.S. Hosanna and Timothy met at the National Quartet Convention, a gospel music event, and, thanks to Timothy’s recording studio, they have even recorded music together.

It might benefit Hosanna and Timothy’s shared music career to eventually appear on Welcome to Plathville if only for the possible exposure they’d get. For now, however, it seems like fans will have to make do with all of the other Plath children.

Watch Welcome to Plathville on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.

Fabricio Werdum Has Joined The Professional Fighter League

One of the most accomplished fighters in MMA history, Fabricio Werdum has officially joined the Professional Fighters League, the organization announced on Tuesday.

“Adding a fighter at the world champion caliber of Fabricio Werdum is next level for the Professional Fighters League,” said Ray Sefo, President of PFL Fighter Operations. “I know the rest of the league’s heavyweight fighters are as excited as I am with Fabricio joining the PFL for the 2021 season starting in April.”

At 43 years old, Werdum holds wins over Fedor Emelianenko, Cain Velasquez and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. A former UFC champion, Werdum entered free agency fresh off a submission victory against Alexander Gustafsson at UFC Fight Night in July and now he’ll take his talents to the unique PFL regular season format.

“I am excited to announce Fabricio Werdum, the Tom Brady of MMA, has signed with the Professional Fighters League,” said Peter Murray, CEO of the PFL. “Fabricio is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time and knows when he steps into the PFL cage this coming season, it is more than a fight. The PFL sport season format provides an opportunity to control his destiny, like all PFL fighters, with a transparent shot to earn another major global title and the PFL million dollar champions belt.”

Stepping into the PFL’s heavyweight division, Werdum joins up-and-comers Mohammed Usman and Justin Willis alongside 2019 champion Ali Isaev and 2019 semi-finalist Denis Goltsov. The season will begin on April 23 on ESPN2.

Jamal Murray Says He Went Off Against The Jazz Because He Didn’t Want To Pack His Room

You could be forgiven if Jamal Murray had maybe slipped under your radar prior to the NBA restart in Orlando. But over the past couple of seasons, he’s become one of the most lethal combo guards in the league and has helped propel the Nuggets to deep postseason runs.

His performances inside the Bubble were a big coming out party, especially in the opening round when he went toe-to-toe with Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz, exploding for multiple 50-point games and gutting out a grueling seven-game series to advance and meet the Clippers in the conference semifinals.

Murray was playing like he something to prove, but beyond the primary goal of adding legendary playoff performances to his resume, it appears he found his motivation from other areas, as well, from things that had little or nothing to do with what was happening on the court.

In a recent appearance on the Knuckleheads podcast, Murray admitted that he was at least partially motivated by not wanting to have to pack up his room and leave the Bubble.

Murray, of course, went on to stage a huge upset in the second round against the Clippers, who many pundits had pegged as the favorites to win the title. Murray was electric in that series as well and continued his outstanding play all the way into the conference finals, where Denver fell to the eventual champion Lakers.

But there will be no more Bubble in the coming season, as teams are set to return to some semblance of a normal schedule when the new season tips off on Dec. 22, although it remains unclear what the fan situation will be inside arenas as the nation awaits the ongoing development a vaccine that will hopefully help stem the tide of the pandemic that has once again been on the rise. Even though the Nuggets will be able to play at home this year, they might want to threaten Murray with needing to do household tasks if he doesn’t perform, because it’s apparently a very successful motivational tool for him.

Bravo Star’s Family Life Explained

Heather recently told Bustle that she and her three daughters — Ashley, 17, Georgia, 14, and Annabelle, 13 — are like “the four Musketeers.”

“They’re 100 percent supportive and kind of caretake me as much as I’m their mom,” she added.

Heather has full custody of their kids, but her ex “completely” supports the family financially, she said. Or, to put it another way, “Our co-parenting is, I do the work, and he pays the bills.”

Zuckerberg, Dorsey, Testify Before Senate About Section 230

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday, where they were bombarded by questions about alleged bias and changes to one of the most important internet laws.

Like the last time Zuckerberg and Dorsey testified in Congress, much of the hearing was dominated by accusations of perceived bias against conservatives by social media companies. However, the heads of the two tech giants were also asked about changes to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. The law acts as a liability shield for websites and blocks them from being held liable for content posted on them by their users.

The section has been hailed as a vital internet law and tech companies and advocates have said changes to the law could have far-reaching consequences. Despite this, the law has become a target for lawmakers on both sides of the aisle.

It was no different on Tuesday, with Chairman Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) promising that changes were coming to Section 230.

“I think Section 230 has to be changed” Graham said during his opening remarks, later adding: “Section 230 as it exists today has got to give.”

Blumenthal echoed Graham in his opening remarks.

“Change is going to come. No question. Change is on the way, and I intend to bring aggressive and targeted reform to Section 230,” the senator said.

Their stance is not shocking. Both senators have pushed the controversial EARN IT Act, which would change portions of Section 230. The bill has been hotly contested by tech and privacy groups.

However, both Dorsey and Zuckerberg signaled that they thought changes to Section 230 were necessary. Later in the hearing, Dorsey warned against changes to the law but said he thought it was possible to “build upon” it.

“From a historical perspective, 230 has created so much goodness and innovation. If we didn’t have those protections when we started Twitter 14 years ago, we could not start,” Dorsey said, adding: “We do have to be very careful and thoughtful about changes to 230 because going one direction might box out new competitors and new startups, going another might create a demand for an impossible amount of resources to handle it, and going yet another might encourage even more blocking of voices or what’s being raised here which is censorship of voices and changing the internet dramatically.”

Experts and advocates have warned that changes to Section 230 might have the opposite effect than what some politicians—like President Donald Trump—want as they complain about alleged conservative bias.

Others have urged caution with changing the law for other reasons. Reddit, in a filing with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) about Trump’s executive order that targets the law, said changes to it “would change the very trajectory of the internet.”

The popular site also noted that changes to the law would not just affect the company, but individual moderators who run subreddits.

Fight for the Future, a digital rights advocacy group, has previously said that without Section 230, “social media platforms would likely engage in mass censorship and banning of accounts rather than open themselves up to lawsuits for hosting controversial opinions.”

The hearing on Tuesday also received condemnation from tech advocacy groups.

“Keeping Section 230’s good framework in place is key to maintaining platforms’ ability and right to check the facts, moderate and remove objectionable information. While some senators on both sides of the aisle are wrongly calling for an outright repeal of Section 230, such a drastic step would either punish platforms for their constitutionally protected editorial decisions or else force them to leave up all kinds of hateful, harmful and unwanted content,” Free Press Action Senior Policy Counsel Carmen Scurato said in a statement on Tuesday.

Max Holloway Will Return To The UFC In January Against Calvin Kattar

After dropping consecutive bouts for the first time since 2013, Max Holloway (21-6) will look to get back to his winning ways when he returns to the Octagon on January 13 at UFC Fight Night against Calvin Kattar (22-4).

Holloway, the former featherweight champion, dropped the belt in December via unanimous decision to Alexander Volkanovski and lost in the return bout seven months later via split decision. The loss was the third in four fights, with his lone other defeat coming in a decision against Dustin Poirier, when he moved up to fight for the interim lightweight crown. Before losing to Volkanovski, Holloway was unbeaten at 145 pounds in six years, with wins over the legenday Jose Aldo and an epic brawl against Brian Ortega that ended with a doctor stoppage.

In Kattar, Holloway gets a heavy-handed opponent looking to make a statement. Kattar has lost just once in his last five fights, with three knockouts against the likes of Jeremy Stephens, Ricardo Lamas and Chris Fishgold. Kattar’s last trip to the Octagon saw him earn a unanimous decision victory against Dan Ige.

Still ranked No. 1 in the division, Holloway certainly has sights set on claiming the featherweight belt yet again. Ortega, however, appears to be in line next for a title shot regardless of the outcome.

Why Do Fans Think Harry Styles Served in the Military? Rumors Explained

In 2016, singer-songwriter Harry Styles landed one of his first acting roles — in Christopher Nolan’s Academy Award-winning war-action movie, Dunkirk.

In the movie, the former One Direction member played Alex, one of the soldiers who heroically fights his way through the inhuman conditions with the hope of returning to his home country of England.

Harry Styles’s great-grandfather is the one who served in the military.

Harry is known for his philanthropic efforts, supporting campaigns such as Treat People with Kindness publicly, but don’t expect to see any sort of military experience on his resume.

The national service in the U.K. was abolished in the 1960s. Born in 1994, Harry wasn’t obligated to enroll in the military. He had his first taste of fame at the age of 16 when One Direction was formed on the British reality show, The X Factor, in 2010.

By the late 2010s, Harry cemented himself as a leading figure in the music industry — and it’s highly unlikely that he would have had the time to enroll in the military.

However, Harry’s great-grandfather, Elijah Daniels, did fight in WWI. According to a previous article by The Irish Times, he served as a private in the 4th Batallion, Bedfordshire Regiment, before he was wounded at the Battle of Arras in 1917.

Harry was sent to a war boot camp in preparation for his role in Christopher Nolan’s ‘Dunkirk.’

To prepare for his role in Dunkirk, Harry agreed to spend some time on an old Royal Navy ship with no running water, electricity, or internet. The singer wasn’t battling the forces of nature on his own, however.

As a previous article by The Sun reveals, the war boot camp was compulsory for the whole cast and crew — including Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, and Kenneth Branagh.

Article continues below advertisement

“Harry is used to living the life of luxury so this will be a very interesting experience. […] He knows this boot camp at sea is a big part of the job and is keen to get stuck in,” an insider told the outlet at the time.

“But this will be tough and producers are trying to make life on board as realistic as possible,” the insider added.

Most fans didn’t know what to make of the strange rumor about Harry’s time in the military.

“People are literally debating on Twitter if Harry Styles served in the military and stans are posting pictures of him from the movie Dunkirk… I’m dead,” wrote one user before another added, “How was Harry Styles in the military if he was in a band”

A third chimed in, “That Twitter thread of ppl convincing that old white person that Harry Styles served in the military sends me.”

So, there you have it. It is just a rumor that Harry served in the military, but he does look good in the uniform!
