Olympian figure skater Adam Rippon was happily open regarding his relationship with boyfriend Jussi-Pekka Kajaala. The two have been going strong since they went official a year ago, announcing their status in an Instagram post. Adam gushed as he spoke of his 6-foot-4 companion, saying, “It’s like he’s wearing platforms all the time. … It’s just nice to be around somebody tall.”
The famous Olympian also said, “I never will lose him in a crowd.” The figure skater revealed he and the love of his life have their own secret language. The 29-year-old skater said of his Finnish boyfriend that he didn’t understand some of the words he used. From there, the couple began to use certain words to playfully and secretly speak to each other.
The couple also has the most adorable nicknames for each other, like “My Pretty Monster,” says Jussi, referring to Adam. It’s pretty cool when only you and your significant other can understand certain communication.
The star also mentioned the word “muff muff,” said in response to him telling Jussi he loved him — as if these two weren’t already too cute. The couple seems to be happy and moving along smoothly with their relationship.
