Small
correction – This map shows how names of voivodeships were originally
pronounced.That’s why modern Śląsk doesn’t mean ‘Moisture’ but it came
from word Ślęg which meant moisture and referenced to the mountain
called ‘Ślęża’.

Interesting is ‘beloved’
This voivodeship is named after the historical region called “Lubusz land”
named after city Lubusz which today is in Germany (Lebus City).
And that’s how Poland now look after her beloved one (Germany)
