When it comes to iconic singers, Madonna is at the top of the list. The 61-year-old is still touring, and picking up new fans everywhere she goes. One of those fans? 25-year-old Ahlamalik Williams, her backup dancer boyfriend that she reportedly hand-picked for her tour back in 2015.
It may seem like a crazy age gap (especially since Madonna’s daughter Lourdes is only two years younger than Ahlamalik) but the two are making it work. And according to TMZ, Madonna has already gone ahead and met his family, who confirmed with the site that the couple are getting serious.
“Love has no age,” Ahlamalik’s father Drue said. “My son is livin’ la Vida Loca, and I’m just happy for him.”
It’s good that they have parental approval. Even though Ahlamalik is an adult, some parents might not be supportive due to the large age gap. The dancer’s parents have reportedly already grabbed plane tickets for two of Madonna’s international shows in 2020, which proves that they think this pairing was built to last.
