Lizzo and Megan Thee Stallion just proved that Hot Girl Summer is still in full swing. The two breakout sensations posted a video together, with Lizzo playing her signature flute while Megan Thee Stallion twerks to the music.

“DOWN SOUF LITTLE MERMAID,” Stallion captioned the video on Twitter.

Lizzo shared the same video with the caption, “Houston we have a problem.”

The internet nearly collapsed when the video was posted.

“This is going to bring world peace,” Twitter user @AdrianXpression said.

“I never knew I needed this duo now I’m happy af it happened,” said @daquijay.

It’s easy to see why the internet could not handle these two icons coming together and living their best lives.

Megan Thee Stallion is a rap sensation who has completely taken over the internet since her debut mixtape Fever dropped a few months ago. Launching a female empowerment movement (and now meme) called “Hot Girl Summer,” she has been at the forefront of encouraging women to get lit and live their best lives.

Meanwhile, rapper-singer-flutiest Lizzo, whose recent album Cuz I Love You topped the charts, has easily proven herself to be one of the most talented singers of today’s age. That, and her epic flute solo at this year’s BET Awards, is sure to go down in award show history.

So needless to say, this is a musical collaboration that needs to happen pronto.
