Leading areas for deforestation rather than tree loss
A previous post in this sub showed countries by largest tree loss, which
was just trees harvested, not taking into account new growth or farmed
trees. So it showed places like the US, parts of Europe, and Russia as
some of the worst, despite forest coverage actually increasing.
