The name of this war arena is Colosseum It is considered to be the hallmark of Rome around the world. The amphitheater was built by the Roman emperor Titus in 80 AD and for 100 days after its opening, the Romans performed bloody games involving slaves called gladiators. During this period, about 9 thousand animals and humans died. The arena has a seating capacity of 50,000 people with separate classifications for kings, nobles, companions, commoners and slaves.
