From Miley Cyrus to Celine Dion, here’s everything you missed at the 2024 Grammy Awards

ICYMI, the 66th Annual Grammy Awards aired tonight on CBS, and all of the biggest stars in music were out and about to celebrate the best moments of the last year!

From iconic red carpet looks to incredible performances to shocking wins, there was no shortage of hilarious fan reactions to the show.

For starters, Trevor Noah made some genuinely funny jokes during his opening monologue—unlike some recent hosts:

And Boygenius won before the show even began:

Then Miley Cyrus told a metaphorical tale involving a butterfly in front of Mariah Carey after winning Best Pop Solo Performance:

Tracey Chapman showed up to perform “Fast Car” with Luke Combs after being out of the limelight for years:

SZA took to the stage with a samurai sword-swinging posse and hilariously scared some members of the audience:

Miley Cyrus took to the stage after winning her first-ever Grammy and straight-up called out the audience for not singing:

And Billie Eilish took to the stage to perform her gorgeous song from Barbie, “What Was I Made For,” in an outfit that was, itself, a nod to Barbie:

SZA won for best R&B Song for “Snooze,” but had to run from the backstage area where she was changing (and “taking a shot”) before adorably shouting out Taylor Swift mid-speech:

And speaking of Taylor, she was also caught on camera dancing to Olivia Rodrigo’s performance of “Vampire,” despite rumors Oliva may have written the song about Taylor:

Keeping up with Taylor, she used her Best Pop Vocal Album win—her 13th Grammy—to announce her upcoming new album, “Tortured Poets Department”:

Then Jay-Z took to the stage to accept the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award, and used his speech to call out the Recording Academy directly and reference Beyoncé’s many wins—but, somehow, no Album of the Year win—even saying “some [artists] don’t belong in their category”:

Miley won again, this time for Record of the Year, and thanked everyone she could remember before saying, “I don’t think I forgot anyone, but I might’ve forgotten underwear!”:

Then, Celine Dion showed up as the surprise presenter for Album of the Year:

And Taylor Swift won Album of the Year for the fourth time, making history as the only artist in history to ever do so:

So, there you have it! In short:
