ICYMI: Greyson recently did an interview with Rolling Stone where he said he had “never met someone more manipulative, more self-centered, and more blatantly opportunistic than her.” Ellen had signed him to her now-shuttered label eleveneleven in 2010, after his viral cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi,” but Greyson said she became “domineering and way too controlling” before “completely” abandoning him once his music started to underperform.

Well, Charlie addressed those allegations in a separate interview with Rolling Stone and explained how he had a different experience with eleveneleven. “We both have different experiences, me versus Greyson,” he said.

While he might not see things exactly the same, Charlie did agree with Greyson on at least one front. “I do agree with him that no one was present, certainly, after the creation of my first demo EP,” he said.

Charlie, who signed to eleveneleven after gaining prominence on YouTube, ended up leaving the label in the end, but he said he’s “not putting any blame on one person, but from a collective.”

“All the people that were in that room, they just disappeared. I didn’t hear from anybody,” he added.

Oof. Well, Ellen has yet to comment directly on Charlie’s claims, but we’ll update you if she does!
