Gina DeJesus, Amanda Berry and Michelle Knight were all held captive for 10 years in Cleveland, Ohio by Ariel Castro.
Michelle was 21 when she was kidnapped. Amanda was 17. Gina was 14.
These women experienced years of torture and every type of abuse imaginable at the hands of their evil captor.
But despite their horrific realities, the three women fought to survive by banding together, and in 2013 they miraculously managed to escape the nightmarish prison in which they were trapped for nearly a decade.
In the years since their escape, they’ve gone on to graduate high school and return to a life as normal as possible.
In fact, they’ve turned their incredibly survival stories into hope and wisdom for so many others in need.
There are so many missing and endangered children in Ohio, and all across the country, and now these brave women are joining in the fight to save them.
