‘Tiger King’ Is So Popular Netflix Just Announced They’re Dropping New After-Show Episode

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (and not on your couch like the rest of us), then you know about Tiger King. It’s the current Netflix binge that no one can seem to get enough of and with good reason. The docuseries which follows ‘Joe Exotic’ a disgraced zookeeper who was charged with hiring someone to murder his nemesis, Carol Baskin. The show has been widely talked about since it hit the streaming service last month. It got 34 million unique views in just the first 10 days and that was just in the U.S.!

Now, we’re about to get just a little bit more and it’s bound to get interesting. Netflix is about to satisfy our collective thirst for more Tiger King with one more episode, but it’s a little different. Here’s what we know about the episode which is set to air tomorrow, April 12.

The episode is an aftershow hosted by comedian Joel McHale. Netflix made the announcement via Twitter, writing, “The Tiger King and I — a Tiger King after-show hosted by Joel McHale and featuring brand new interviews with John Reinke, Joshua Dial, John Finlay, Saff, Erik Cowie, Rick Kirkman, and Jeff and Lauren Lowe — will premiere April 12.” Carol Baskin says she wasn’t asked about participating but even if she was, she would have turned the offer down.

“I talk to a lot of people involved in the project,” he says in the video. “To see what’s happened in their lives since the release of the series. It’s eye-opening and, hopefully, funny.” In the future, we may get even more Tiger King, though. Actor Rob Lowe and American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy are reportedly working on an adaptation of the series. There are also talks of a new season of the show, as well.
