Sources say that the couples’ neighbors are coming together to ensure that Harry and Meghan are able to have the privacy they so craved.
Local businesses on North Saanich on Vancouver Island have been inundated with reporters curious to find out more about Harry and Meghan’s new digs. Business owners have not complied for two reasons. For one, the insane media attention is making it difficult for them to run their businesses as usual. More importantly, the locals are sympathetic to Harry and Meghan’s desire for privacy. The business owners have begun posting signs in their windows to let the sleuthing media know they aren’t welcome.
Privacy has been a major concern for Harry and Meghan since their departure from the UK. Last month, the couple threatened legal action against paparazzi that photographed Meghan out with 8-month-old son Archie and their two dogs. The photographs were taken by paps hiding in bushes with long-focus lenses. While Harry and Meghan do plan to be more accessible in this new chapter of their lives, they’ve emphasized that it will be on their own terms.
