You just never know when you’ll cross paths with a celebrity while out in the real world — like when a retired teacher picked up a stranger’s tab, only to discover it was Keith Urban himself who she was helping out.
The clip you’re about to see is going viral for all the right reasons. A woman was recently riding the subway in New York City when a man wearing a bomber jacket and sunglasses offered up his seat for her.
Instagram user “willsta_gram” filmed the amazing moment the woman realized that this good samaritan was none other a very famous actor and comedian. “When Ben Stiller casually gives up his seat on the NYC subway & then this,” he captioned it.
Let’s just say she was pretty excited about her unexpected celebrity encounter. This woman is a fan.
“Oh my God!” she screamed. “No mentira, tu me haces reír mucho!” (“You make me laugh so much,” in Spanish.)
But the best part is watching her scramble to remove the curlers from her hair so she can look her best. Even Ben was cracking up at her sheer excitement.
Ben was kind and gracious, and despite the fact he probably would’ve preferred to go unnoticed on the train, he took the time to snap some selfies with his #1 fan and her fellow passengers.
I have a feeling that it won’t be long until we see these two reunite on “The Ellen Show.”
