The already huge Kardashian-Jenner family is growing yet again in 2019!
According to reports confirmed by People, Kim Kardashian and her husband, Kanye West, are expecting their fourth child via surrogate. The new baby will join the couple’s three older children: North, 5, Saint, 3, and Chicago, 11 months. The reality star carried and delivered her two oldest kids, while baby Chicago was born via gestational carrier at the start of 2018.
Us Weekly reports that the gender of the baby is already known. Insiders told Us that the couple had one embryo remaining, a male, after their fertility treatments to conceive Chicago. That male embryo was implanted in their surrogate, who is reportedly set to deliver the couple’s fourth child “in very early May.”
Kim and Kanye have yet to officially confirm the news, but this announcement doesn’t come as too much of a surprise to fans of the family.
“Kim and Kanye have always wanted a big family,” a source told Entertainment Tonight in August. “Kim loved growing up with a lot of siblings and wants the same for her children […] [Kanye would] have as many [kids] as possible.”
Kim herself discussed the possibility of welcoming another child in 2019 late last year.
“Three is a lot, [but] you never know,” she said. “My mom kind of prepped me [for what having three kids was like], and it was crazy because when everyone found out that I was having a third, everyone had a crazy story for you, like, ‘Two was great, but three, you are outnumbered. You are exhausted.’ Like, all of these nightmare stories. […] [Having a brother for Saint] would be nice. It really would, but I’m very full right now.”
