Congratulations are in order for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, who just tied the knot in a sweet, albeit very short, ceremony in Las Vegas after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards!
Joe Jonas attended the Billboard Music Awards last night with his now-wife, Sophie, and, of course, his two brothers Nick and Kevin and their respective spouses. The Jonas Brothers hit the stage as a band for the first time in nearly a decade and played their first single together off their new album, “Sucker.”
Joe and Sophie decided to keep the party going all night long and hit up a Vegas wedding chapel to get hitched. Fellow musician and DJ Diplo livestreamed the entire thing. Joe and Sophie even got an Elvis impersonator to perform the ceremony, which is peak Vegas, if you ask me.
A rep for Sophie Turner confirms that the two did, in fact, get hitched by Elvis on Wednesday night. “We can confirm Sophie and Joe were married in Las Vegas last night,” her rep told People.
The low-key wedding might come as a shock to some people after the multiple extravagant weddings of Joe’s younger brother Nick and Priyanka Chopra last year. But hey, to each his own, right?
