Ronny Rose, a construction worker from Colorado, was heading to a job site early one morning when he saw something that made him literally slam on his brakes.
He pulled over in the alley and got close enough to confirm what he thought he’d spotted along the busy road: three female Rottweiler puppies, no more than 12 weeks old, cuddled together in a pile. They were so sweet and adorable, he figured they must have gotten lost from home.
Ronny knew he only had mere minutes to get to work on time — but the dog lover, husband and father-of-three refused to leave the puppies there all alone.
So, he placed the pups in his truck and went on a mission to track down the owner by going door-to-door and sharing messages on social media and neighborhood watch websites.
When no one claimed the dogs, Ronny realized someone had abandoned them. His heart sank, but he was thankful to have been at the right place at the right time.
The concerned construction worker knew his mission was incomplete. Again, he loaded the trio of puppies into his vehicle and, this time, he drove them over to his roofing company.
That’s where the story takes a truly heartwarming turn… all thanks to one man who decided to do the right thing.
