Viewers can’t get enough of the fun and whimsy evident on the Netflix cooking competition series Crazy Delicious. Aside from the fairytale-esque forest that serves as a pantry; the creative picnic, brunch, and tea-themed challenges; and the Golden Apple prize, many are loving the flair that host Jayde Adams adds.
The comedian is serving up more than just a few jokes for the contestants and for the Gods of Food (aka the judges) — she’s also supporting the cooks and leading them through their tasks.

Who is Jayde Adams?
The 35-year-old Crazy Delicious host was born and raised in Bristol, England. She pursued an education in drama and theatre at the University of Glamorgan in Wales. Jayde began doing stand-up after her sister, Jenny Adams, tragically died from an inoperable brain tumor in 2011.
Jayde won the audience vote at the London Cabaret Awards in 2013 and she was awarded the main vote at the Funny Women Awards in the Leicester Square Theatre the following year.
During her TV debut as a co-host for Before the Morning After in 2015, she closed out the show by singing “Offenbach’s Barcarolle.”
With a background in singing, she also worked as an Adele impersonator in London’s drag scene.
In perhaps a bit of homage to Adele, Jayde named her 2016 comedy show after her age at the time, Jayde 31. She was subsequently nominated at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for the set.
In 2017, she starred alongside The Tenderloins (aka the stars of truTV’s Impractical Jokers) on the U.K. series Say Whaaat. Her musical comedy show Amusical debuted on Comedy Central in the U.K. in 2019.
One of Jayde’s most notable stand up routines has been The Ballad of Kylie Jenner’s Old Face. The show was renamed Serious Black Jumper before it was added to Amazon Prime in 2019. In that same year, she was first introduced to hosting a cooking show, with Snackmasters. Jayde co-hosts the competition series alongside Fred Sirieix.

Who is Jayde Adams’ boyfriend?
The TV personality and comedy star has been in a relationship with Rich Wilson since 2017. The two share a love for all things funny, as Rich also works in stand-up. He also created Insane In The Men Brain podcast in February of 2019, which focuses on discussing the stigma for men’s mental health. Rich generally releases new episodes of the podcast on Thursdays.
Rich and Jayde have done stand-up tours together and they have also collaborated on the spin-off series of Rich’s successful podcast: Insane in the Fem Brain. On the series, Jayde teaches Rich about examples of powerful women.
Jayde’s Crazy Delicious co-star, and one of the Gods of Food, Carla Hall appeared on the June 11 episode.
Outside of his comedy and podcasting work, Rich is also the father of two adult sons, Keanu and Bailey Wilson.
