For six months, Army Captain Eric Morski was deployed in Nepal. His wife and daughter, who were stationed back home in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, desperately missed him while he was gone.
Eric and 10-year-old Iliana tried to chat with each other via FaceTime as much as they possibly could. They usually found the time to speak while Iliana ate breakfast before school, which was Eric’s dinnertime in Asia.
One day, as the holiday season approached, Iliana was hanging out in her bedroom when her mom came in and told her that her dad wanted to FaceTime.
However, this conversation was unlike any other; moments after Iliana and Eric began talking, her mom told her to take a closer look at her screen and the room in which he was talking to her.
After a couple seconds of confusion, Iliana realized her dad was talking to her from inside their own house… and it’s a reaction you just don’t want to miss.
