Bode Miller And Wife Morgan Announce They’re Expecting Twins One Year After Daughter’s Death

To say that Bode Miller and his family have been on an emotional roller coaster would be an understatement. It all started in April 2018, when the couple announced they were expecting their third child together. Just two months later, tragedy struck when the Olympic alpine skier and his wife, professional beach volleyball player Morgan Miller, lost their 19-month-old daughter Emmy in a tragic drowning accident. The heartbroken couple welcomed son Easton that October. Now their healing family is growing again.

Bode and Morgan appeared on Today, where they announced that they’re expecting identical twin boys. The news was very special for Bode, who had told Morgan he wanted identical twin boys born on his birthday early on in their relationship. Morgan’s due date is November 11, just one month after Bode’s birthday. The twins will be the fourth and fifth children for the couple — needless to say, the Miller family has dealt with a lot of highs and lows in the past few years.
