Alec Baldwin Must Complete Anger Management Classes After Pleading Guilty To Harassment

A dispute with a stranger over a parking spot has landed Alec Baldwin back in school — anger management classes, to be exact. Last November, the 30 Rock star was arrested. Allegedly, Alec shoved and punched a man following a dispute over a parking spot in front of his Greenwich Village apartment in New York City. Alec was charged with attempted assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree.

This isn’t the first time Alec has been accused of acting erratically. A number of reporters and journalists have attested to the actor’s anger over the years. Then, there was the infamous voicemail Alec left his daughter Ireland in 2008. The message, which was leaked to the press, featured Alec berating his daughter for not answering his calls. He called her “a rude, thoughtless little pig.” Ireland was 11 years old at the time of the explosive voicemail.

Alec took to Twitter to defend himself following his most recent incident. In a tweet, he wrote, “Normally, I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today’s story. However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false. I wanted to go on the record stating as much.”

He did, however, admit to shoving the man during the altercation. He told police officers at the scene, “He stole my spot. I did push him.”

Alec pleaded guilty to the harassment charge, a violation. The judge then ordered him to complete a short anger management course before his next court date in late March. This is in addition to paying a $120 fine.
