After Dad’s Death, 6-Year-Old Son Makes Good On Vow To Earn Enough Cash To Take Mom On Date

Brandon Campbell loved taking his wife out for date night. It became their Friday night tradition. A skilled businessman, Brandon also loved teaching their six-year-old son, Brady, everything he knew about the value of hard work. Brady was eager to learn from him, especially if it meant spending time with his beloved father.

Then Brandon was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Brandon passed away in July 2019 after a seven-month battle at the age of 37.

Before Brandon passed away, Brady made him a very special promise.

Together, the father and son came up with the idea of starting a lemonade stand so Brady could take his mom, Amanda, out on a date. Brady absolutely loved the idea; it honored his father’s love for his mother and his business savvy.

Brady wanted to earn enough money on his own so he could pay for everything and truly treat Amanda to a great night out.

The day after Brandon passed away, Brady opened his lemonade stand just like he promised — but the results went above and beyond anyone’s expectations.
