Alayna Gray is an entrepreneur from Madison, Alabama who recently bought her very first car.
Here’s the thing… Alayna is only 10 years old.
For the last few years, this determined and passionate kid has been amassing her own money by doing extra house chores, saving her holiday and birthday cash, and selling handmade bracelets.
Noticing her penchant for entrepreneurship, Alayna’s dad Marquise started teaching her a little bit about money management. “If you keep saving, you’ll have enough to buy a car,” he recounted to WZDX. “She was like, no I don’t think I want to buy a car with my money. I said no, we’re not going to buy a car. You’re going to buy a car, make money, and then you’ll get more money for it, so once she understood that, she started getting on my nerves about it.”
Alayna realized she could flip a car so she could buy her dream car, a Maserati, when she turns 16.
So, Alayna and Marquise attended a virtual auction and they won a used car.
