Army Soldiers Are Using Their Days Off To Cuddle Koalas Injured In Australian Bush-Fires

We’ve seen so many devastating images out of Australia in recent months, since this season’s bushfires took over. A massive part of the continent has been battling the flames for weeks now. As a result, people have lots their homes, human lives have been lost, as well as millions of animal lives.

Over 32,000 square miles of land has been blackened by the flames and many animals species are suffering severely as a result. It’s pretty devastating reality, but the truth is, Australia will be seeing repercussions from these fires for years to come. Koalas in particular have perished in massive numbers in the flames.

But luckily there are a ton of people on the ground making efforts to save the animals that can be saved.  Many koalas have been brought to rehab centers where hopefully, they can overcome their injuries. Now, we’re seeing that the Australian Army is stepping in to help and in all of the devastating images we’ve seen, now we’re getting a glimpse of some uplifting ones.
