While there are many documentaries about Amy, this is the first biopic film of her life and it has the full support of The Amy Winehouse Estate.
The Estate released a statement saying, “We are thrilled that Studiocanal, Focus Features and Monumental are making this movie celebrating our daughter Amy’s extraordinary music legacy and showcasing her talent in the way that it deserves.”
