Spoiler alert: This article contains spoilers for Season 25 of Big Brother.

When it comes to Big Brother, one of the most nerve-wracking elements of the competition is the obligatory nomination ceremony; each week, the Head of Household has the sole responsibility to nominate two fellow houseguests for eviction. Or, when it comes to the monumental 25th season, more houseguests are put on the block during any given week.

The Season 25 premiere starts with a bang when the 16 houseguests learn the house was flipped upside down, in a sense, with the promise of lots of random twists thanks to the Big Brother “Multiverse.” And one of those twists involves the automatic nomination of not two, but four houseguests after they each come in last place during four separate competitions in the premiere.

Who went on the block on ‘Big Brother’ Season 25?

During the Season 25 premiere, we see four houseguests enter the house at a time. They are tasked with each choosing a different game to station themselves at. The next three sets of four houseguests do the same until all four games are ready to be played. One involves a huge 3-D puzzle that has to be taken apart and placed in its box so all the pieces fit perfectly.

Another competition forces four players to hold onto handles on a floor as they’re each pulled by a giant monster hand in an effort to pull them into Big Brother‘s “Nether Region.” A third game is about placing the correct wires on an slime “bomb” before anyone else can and the fourth competition played in the premiere forces contestants to use a rowing machine to kick a large boot on their butts and get to 100 kicks the fastest.

After all that, the four houesguests placed on the block in the Big Brother 25 premiere are Kirsten, Jared, Felicia, and Cory. They all come in last place in their respective competitions. And it’s up to them to try and save themselves from going home by the first live eviction episode of the season.

Season 25 of ‘Big Brother’ is all about the twists.

The 25th season of our favorite reality competition show takes the iconic phrase “expect the unexpected” to a whole other level. What we think we know about the show and how it works isn’t quite the same this time around.

What does that mean for those who are on the block at any given time? They could very well see safety or the chance to return to the game in ways viewers have never seen before.

Watch Big Brother on Sundays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EST and Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
