Some of these moments make me so uncomfy…
Recently, Millie Bobby Brown made headlines after she kinda dissed the writers of Stranger Things. She said, “[The cast] is way too big. Last night, we couldn’t even take one group picture because there were, like, 50 of us. I was like, you need to start killing people off. The Duffer brothers are two sensitive Sallies that don’t want to kill anyone off. We need to be Game of Thrones. We need to have the mindset of Game of Thrones.“
The writers responded, asserting that they are “not Game of Thrones.” Well, the whole interaction got me thinking about times celebs were rude and snappy to people behind the scenes — from staff to crew to writers to cameramen, and more.

Joaquin Phoenix was surprised by Jimmy Kimmel revealing a behind-the-scenes video of him yelling at a cameraman:

What happened: It appears that Joaquin had no idea that Jimmy was going to share a behind-the-scenes video of him being super snappy and rude to a cameraman during the filming of Joker.

Madonna was rude to people during an interview when it was too hot in the room:

What happened: It appeared the director of photography walked in on the shot, which led to Christian’s full-blown freakout. He later apologized. You can hear the full audio here.

Katherine Heigl dissed the writers team of Grey’s Anatomy:

What happened: Katherine has said A LOT about Grey’s, but one particular diss was her withdrawing herself from the Emmy’s because she didn’t feel the material deserved the nomination. This was obviously a huge slap in the face to the team and crew.

Teresa Giudice threw drinks at a Real Housewives of New Jersey producer after they showed footage of her encouraging Danielle Staub to pull Margaret Josephs’ hair:

What happened: Teresa had no clue the producers would show her behind the scenes, encouraging Danielle to pull Margaret’s hair. “I hope they don’t use this,” Teresa said, before throwing drinks.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann pushed a cameraman who followed her after she stormed out a restaurant:

What happened: Kim flipped out and pushed a cameraman after they followed her out after she stormed out of a restaurant on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Justin Bieber was heard on a hot mic complaining — A LOT — about the camera angles of his performance on TODAY in 2015.

What happened: Justin appeared to be annoyed and displeased with the position of the cameras on TODAY, explaining that they weren’t capturing his dancing well.

Nancy Grace got mad at her producers for playing Paris Hilton’s Burger King commercial during a segment about her arrest:

What happened: Nancy Grace singled out her producer, Elizabeth, for playing Paris’ Burger King commercial. “I wanna see you,” she said, signaling for the cameramen to show her on-screen. “Take it down.”

Criminal Minds star Thomas Gibson was fired because he allegedly kicked a writer on set:

What happened: During a creative differences disagreement, Thomas allegedly kicked a writer. “There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement,” Thomas said. “I regret that it occurred. We all want to work together as a team to make the best show possible. We always have and always will.”

Bill Murray threw a producer into a lake during a disagreement once:

What happened: Producer Laura Ziskin told Entertainment Weekly that during a disagreement, Bill threw her in a lake. Although she said it was “playful,” she said he did exhibit pretty unacceptable behavior.

What happened: A producer seemingly tried to enter Kylie’s room. She opened up and snapped, “I was literally fucking peeing.”

And lastly, when Steve Jobs was giving a presentation and his camera didn’t turn on, so he chucked it to a crew member:

What happened: Steve was giving an Apple demo, and he got mad because his camera wasn’t working. “My camera’s not turning on!” he said, before chucking it to a crew member. The audience audibly gasps. “If you’re an expert, turn it on.”
