“I saw it in the theatre when it came out and was blown away. I thought the movie was absolutely fantastic, Leo and Tom did a great job, it was enthralling, moving, and intense… I loved it so much that I immediately bought and devoured the novel after watching
That being said, I will NEVER watch it again. The gore, violence, and traumatic survival conditions were way too much for me to ever want to vicariously endure again. I loved it, and one viewing is all I needed.”
