Sul Sul! Who would’ve thought that a 23-year-old game concept would still have us in such a tight chokehold? The Sims is one of the best-selling game franchises of all time, and boasts some of the most loyal fans in history! It’s also notoriously known for having some of the most hilariously buggy game content to ever exist.
1.
I couldn’t even hold onto this one for too long because I know we’re all thinking the same thing…
How on earth did this toddler turn into NSYNC-era JT?
2.
Stanley Stickman clearly had some bizarre problems transforming between his werewolf and human form.
3.
Somehow this Simmer’s household turned into real-life Jumanji and I’m CACKLING.
4.
I can’t be sure if this one is even a bug, but it’s still fittingly incorrect all the same. This one honestly feels like the beginning of a really good Halle Berry movie.
5.
I don’t think this is exactly what we meant when we said we wanted infants to be more interactive…
6.
Game mods are downloadable content (usually fan-made) that can add features to and change the functionality of your game! Sometimes the coding of the game and the coding of the mods don’t always agree, and you luckily get content like this.
7.
His neck has just been completely taken away.
8.
This is what you see in the middle of the night when you wake up and think your clothes pile chair is a demon.
9.
Nothing is wilder than when your Sims randomly become disfigured. LIKE, I’M ACTUALLY SCARED.
10.
I know we’ve ALL been here before.
11.
There are so many things happening, but the Firefighters just standing in this blazing inferno probably takes the cake. Meanwhile, leave it to Thorne Bailey to cause this chaotic string of events and then DIE. This is why we don’t let you leave Del Sol Valley, Thorne!
12.
This poor cat’s probably on its 20th phone call from a random townie asking if they should spend more time with another random townie.
13.
When you’re trying to plead for a Sims life, but the Grim Reaper won’t talk to you because you’re only a Notable Newcomer.
This is the legend, Bonehilda! She’s an NPC (non-playable character) that was first introduced in The Sims: Making Magic back in 2003. She’s a maid, yes, but as you can see, she’s also a skeleton!
14.
We’ve only ever seen Bonehilda in her skeletal form, so believe me when I say I was SHOCKED when this decades-long mystery finally had an answer!
15.
And finally, the infamous eye bug. In true Sims fashion, this one had not only Simmers but also Maxis utterly confused as well.
No matter how many glitches or bugs come our way, we’ll always come back to play with life. To all my Simmers, if you have any fond memories of your bugs, please tell us about them in the comments below! Happy Simming!
