At this point, If The Weeknd isn’t dating Angelina Jolie, then he sure is taunting us.
Way back in June 2021, rumors started circulating that the pair were dating after they were spotted grabbing dinner together in Los Angeles.

(Because yes, this is Hollywood, so showing up in a public space with anyone means you’re dating.)
THEN, two weeks later, they were spotted at a concert together.
And finally, to really drive the dating rumors home, they went BACK to the same restaurant they were first spotted at for another potential date in September. Obviously, people have been desperate for answers.
And now, it seems like we might finally have them. In The Weeknd’s newest album, Dawn FM, which was released today, he sings quite a few lines that fans think directly reference Angelina…
For starters, the song “Here We Go…Again” has these lines:

And then it gets juicier…

This line seemingly references the two sleeping together (while also nodding to Neve Campbell, aka the famous horror actor from the Scream films).
Then on the song “Starry Eyes,” he sings:

I read this as him referencing some of Angelina’s older movies that (given the 15-year age gap) he would have watched as a child, and now he can’t believe he’s dating her.
And then…

This could be a reference to Angelina’s very public divorce from Brad Pitt.
And finally, in the same song:

This one might be a stretch, but I think the specific reference to Angelina could be in the line, “You weren’t touched by a man in so long,” because post-Brad Pitt in 2016, Angelina had only a very brief fling with a real estate agent in 2018, and hasn’t been linked to anyone romantically again until now.
Until Angelina or Abel confirms, it’s all just speculation. However, it kinda seems like The Weeknd really wants us to know it’s her, and can we really blame him? I’d want everyone to know I bagged Angelina too.
