For his last episode, Pete rolled up to the desk to talk about his time on the show, and there were obviously jokes.

Then Pete said he’d miss Lorne Michaels, and shared the advice Lorne gave him when he got engaged to Ariana Grande after dating for two weeks.
He finished off by thanking Lorne and everyone at the show for always having his back and “not judging [him] when everyone else was.”
Pete was best known for his Update appearances and pre-taped music video sketches, so it was only fitting that he closed out his time on SNL like this.
