You’ve probably heard the news by now, but Rihanna is pregnant!

It’s all over the internet, but I’m not complaining. Just look at them, they are perfect.

I love whenever a famous person posts the news about their baby though, because the internet just goes WILD with excitement and joy. So, here are 10 of the most celebrated pregnancy announcements in recent years:

1. Beyonce

Beyonce stunned Instagram with her gorgeous maternity pictures in 2017, when she was pregnant with twins. Everyone seemed to be talking about this that year, so it’s no surprise the post now has over 10.9 million likes. The caption is really just the cherry on top, and it reads, “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters”

3. Kylie Jenner

We can’t forget when Kylie Jenner posted this photo of her first child Stormi back in 2018. The news about Stormi caught everyone by surprise because Kylie did not make her pregnancy public until after her daughter was born. So it makes sense that this photo blew up and became the most-liked photo on Instagram at one point. Today, the post has over 18.3 million likes.

6. Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson managed to keep her pregnancy pretty hidden from the public, which only made it more exciting when everyone found out about her baby with Colin Jost in 2021. The SNL host was actually the one to post the news on his Instagram, and the post itself was the most Colin-Jost-thing-ever. “Ok ok we had a baby, His name is Cosmo, We love him very much. Privacy would be greatly appreciated, for all inquiries please contact our publicist Michael Che @chethinks,” the post reads.

7. Kim Kardashian

Kim breaks the internet, it’s just what she does. But one of the more memorable times is when she announced the birth of her third child, Chicago, in 2018. “She’s here,” Kim wrote on Twitter. Kim first hinted at using a surrogate for their future child on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in 2017.

8. Blake Lively

Blake Lively has remained quiet about all of her pregnancies, yet has managed to spark lots of chatter whenever word gets out that she’s had a baby — I guess the mystery is part of the appeal. The actress, who now has three children, caused heads to turn when she showed up to the premiere of Pokemon Detective Pikachu with a noticeable baby bump in 2019.

10. Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka and Nick Jonas had everyone shocked when they announced last week that they had a child via surrogate. In an Instagram post, the actor wrote, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much.”

11. Jennifer Lawrence

When word got out that Jennifer Lawrence was pregnant in late 2021, everyone was so excited for her. She’s living her best life with her art dealer husband, so how can you not be happy for the gal? But yeah, I’ll just be here, patiently awaiting the arrival of their baby.

But yeah, what do you think? I still can’t get over Rihanna and A$AP.
