Alright, so if you’ve been on the internet over the past 24 hours, you’ve likely noticed that Julia Fox confirmed her relationship with Kanye West.

Long story short, the Uncut Gems actor wrote a blog post for Interview Magazine about their brief relationship thus far — which included Kanye getting Julia an “entire hotel suite full of clothes” on their second date.

I just want to throw it out there that a) the two met on New Year’s Eve, less than two weeks ago, and b) the new wardrobe is intensely creepy to me — remember when he made Kim Kardashian cry by throwing out almost all of her shoes?
However, it wasn’t long ago that a different relationship of Julia’s was making waves. For context, last February Julia announced that she’d given birth to a son amidst divorce proceedings with her ex-husband, pilot Peter Artemiev.

This probably goes without saying, but Kayne is obviously no stranger to having his former relationships in the spotlight — he publicly asked Kim Kardashian to “run right back” to him last month.
Fast-forward to December, when Julia posted a series of Instagram stories about Peter, saying, amongst other things, “HAVE YOU SEEN THIS DEAD BEAT DAD?” and “This man left me with a 5 month old and a dog and a home and ALL THE BILLS. It’s wrong!!! It’s not fair.”

Peter told Page Six, “I was saddened to learn of the utterly false statements made on social media by Julia Fox, my co-parent, who is clearly struggling. Out of respect for her privacy and to protect our child, I will not comment further.”
Well, speaking to the Cut yesterday, Julia said, “I really just kind of want to clear the air. Because I obviously was not expecting all the publicity to come after I had come for my son’s father online.”

“My son’s father and I had our issues and I wanted to scare him into being a better dad, but I went about it the wrong way. My son’s dad loves his son more than anything in the world. He just has some issues that I shouldn’t have made public.”

Then, in a follow-up text, she added, “The overall message is that if ur in a toxic relationship, get out of it cuz u never [know] who or what could be waiting on the other side <3″ — presumably referring to Kanye.

Two weeks before meeting Ye, Julia described herself as a “die-hard, OG fan” of the Kardashians, joking that she wanted them “to be my family.”
