Freelance industrial designer and YouTuber Rob Chesney fully converted a 2012 Volkswagen Crafter van into a cozy camper complete with modern conveniences.
The vehicle had 200,000 miles, a medium wheelbase, a high roof, and cost $13,000. The project took six months of building condensed into an 18-minute video. Watch Chesney work his one-man building team magic. He uses his myriad of skills to renovate the utilitarian van into an impeccably-designed mobile living space with utilities and plenty of hidden storage.
