Iván has the worst luck in Season 6. Along with his near-fatal car accident, Iván’s father and professional soccer star, Cruz, who just came out as gay, was murdered in a road rage incident on his way to help his son.
On the way out of his driveway, Cruz got into an argument with a group of guys in another car, who recognized him and beat him up for being homosexual. Shortly after, Ivan and Patrick discover Cruz’s lifeless body on the road.
