I am always amazed by the resilience many dogs show in the face of danger.
Humans often cannot handle being injured. The pain will cause them to either pass out or carry on and on. But a dog? If they’re in intense pain, they’ll usually whimper but push through it.
They have a spirit that cannot be broken. Little Deepak has this fighter’s spirit.
He was found on the side of a set of train tracks after getting in the way of a fast-moving train. Three of his legs were crushed.
Deepak obviously could not walk after such a severe accident. He was practically hopeless. He sat by the scene of his accident and must have been clinging to the hope that he’d be found. And thank God he was.
When workers found him, they didn’t expect him to live but called for help. Animal Aid swooped in to save Deepak and rushed him into a five-hour surgery.
The three injured legs had to be removed, but that didn’t stop Deepak. Instead of being hindered by his disability, Deepak is like a puppy now! He is all smiles and loving his new life now that he’s been rescued.
If you were happy to see this dog get a new lease on life, then you will also love this senior dog who became puppy-like after getting a massive tumor removed from his leg.
