  • TUDN is an essential channel for Spanish-speaking (and English-speaking) soccer fans. While it’s best known for Liga MX coverage, it also carries select MLS and Concacaf Champions League matches, many of the matches for Mexico’s national team, as well as Champions League matches en Español.
  • TUDN started life as Univision Deportes Network, but its parent company rebranded it as TUDN—to reflect a merger with Televisa Deportes Network and to play on “tu,” Spanish for “you.”
  • TUDN is currently available via FuboTV and on AT&T TV Now’s Optimo Mas package.

What is TUDN?

TUDN began as Univision Deportes Network in 2012, bolstered by a deal with Dish, in an effort to reach more soccer fans. The 2019 rebrand into TUDN (essentially, “your sports network”) also reflected a merger with Televisa Deportes Network. Though the channel isn’t exclusively a soccer channel—it also has rights to Formula One racing—it is largely about the beautiful game.

It centers on Liga MX, Mexico’s top-flight soccer league, and the Mexican national team (known to fans on both sides of the border as El Tri), and it’s also part of the hodge-podge of networks carrying MLS action. It also brings in teams from Central America and the Caribbean via the Concacaf Champions League, one of the wildest soccer tournaments on the planet.

Even if you don’t speak Spanish, it’s incredibly fun to watch. The commentators bring an unparalleled energy to their game coverage. (Let’s just say you’re definitely going to know when a goal’s been scored.)
