Viola shared a photo of the home on her social media accounts. “The above is the house where I was born August 11, 1965,” she wrote. “Today on my 55th year of life … I own it … all of it.”
She completed the post with a Cherokee birth blessing. “May you live long enough to know why you were born.”
Many people believed that Viola was celebrating buying the home and property, but she later clarified that wasn’t the case. Rather, she was speaking to the greater meaning of it all.
