Dominique Coward, a tree trimmer from Missouri, stopped to get a quick drink at a gas station when he noticed a wallet sitting on the concrete.
At first, he was reluctant to even pick it up and considered moving along with his day… but his gut told him to go investigate.
Dominique was surprised to open the wallet and find $700 in cash, along with all of the owner’s personal information — his social security card, his license, his insurance cards… everything.
He knew exactly what he wanted to do — and that was to go on a mission to prove to the wallet’s owner that good people do exist.
When no one at the store claimed the wallet, Dominique spent the rest of his day taking himself to every single address listed on the ID cards inside the wallet.
He finally ended up at the home of Bobby Dehart’s parents. He left the wallet with Bobby’s mother, then headed out without giving her his name.
But when Bobby learned what this stranger had done for him, he became the one on the mission.
