Warrick Dunn played in the NFL as a running back between 1997 and 2003. The athlete’s life was shaped by the death of his mother, Betty Smothers, who was killed when he was just a teenager.

Warrick went on to establish a charity in Betty’s honor called Warrick Dunn Charities. He and his team have helped dozens of single parents achieve first-time homeownership.

That’s how Warrick came to know Crystal, a pregnant single mother from Globeville, Colorado.

Cyrstal always dreamed of owning her own home, but difficult life circumstances just didn’t present her with the opportunity to do so.

But thanks to Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver and Warrick Dunn Charities, Crystal was recently set up with her very own three-bedroom home for her and her children.

She knew she was so blessed to finally have the house of her dreams, but Crystal and her family didn’t know if they’d have the means to fill it with furniture and decor.

In the clip below, Crystal arrived at her new house in Globeville for what she thought was a simple walk-through. She got there to find a crowd of cheering people standing outside.

It was a surprise celebration — and she never expected to open the door and see a fully furnished home … $10,000 worth of furniture and home decor, all set up and ready for her and her kids.

Watch the clip below to see her awesome reaction to the huge surprise.
