Scarlett Johansson shocked fans during her appearance at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend. Fans weren’t surprised to see the actress at the event. She is, after all, one of the many stars in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. Most fans weren’t even surprised to hear the announcement regarding a Black Widow movie. What caught everyone’s eye was Scarlett’s engagement ring. The one-of-a-kind, light brown ring that was given to her by Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost is estimated to be a whopping 11-carats. Page Six believes the ring was designed by Taffin’s James de Givenchy, nephew of Givenchy design house’s founder Hubert de Givenchy.
Scarlett and Colin got engaged in May 2019. They hit it off during Scarlett’s fifth SNL hosting gig in 2017, and they were set up on a date shortly after. The two were spotted getting cozy together just two months later.
They didn’t make their official debut as a couple until that November when they attended the 2017 American Museum of Natural History Gala together. Now, they’re happily engaged!
