Even though Prince Harry may have thought that moving his family would help them avoid some negative headlines, he’s still been in the news quite a lot recently. Luckily, it’s not quite as bad as it once was.
For one, he’s been vocal about how to best handle coronavirus. Harry and Meghan posted a wonderful statement on their Instagram about how to proceed from here. “We are all in this together, and as a global community, we can support each other through this process – and build a digital neighbourhood that feels safe for every one of us,” they stated. Like the rest of the world, they’re trying hard to keep some distance.
Distance is, apparently, also a reason as to why he wanted to move his family to Canada in the first place. It was obvious that the press was bullying Meghan to a terrifying degree. But now, a source for Us Weekly states that the distance was also important for his son, Archie.
“He wants to shield his son from the negativity and tension he would’ve been exposed to back in England,” the source said.
Not surprisingly, a lot of that is based on his own upbringing.
